Here are the action items we need to work on:

Jack and Jerry will present the final wired evaluation report to the SEDC board on January 16.
 
bSWATT approved SEDC to discontinue the support of LEAF come July 1st, 2013 (contingent on SEDC board approval)
 
Regional Retreat in Mesquite-for those that have signed up but do not show up will be charged for both the hotel room and the meals ($90.00), UEN will provide $800 for the retreat.
 
Scott will provide a report at the January retreat on MS Security Essentials/Virus Scanning solutions, this will include how to handle IOS and Android devices, cloud storages issues, etc..
 
Charlie, Kevin and Cory will meet with SUU on the Administrator/ Ed Tech Director Certificate, we will report on this next bSWAT meeting.
 
Jack and Cory will be working on the video surveillance purchasing contract come the first of the year.  We will report next bSWATT meeting.
 
Clint/SEDC will work to determine what training is needed for SAGE, we will send out details in the next couple of weeks.
 
We will provide training to the SEDC board in January on Canvas, next steps will be determined after this training (I thought the discussion on Canvas was excellent).
 
We are rolling out training for the eSTRIDE pilot schools to be completed before the Christmas break, the rest of the high schools will be brought online by the end of January.
 
Each technology director will forward on the information regarding the up coming regional secretary conference:  
 
Clint and Cory are presenting the Regional Instructional Technology Teacher PLC to the SEDC board in Dec, please take a few minutes to discuss this with your superintendents.
 
The TCC board is in the process of developing a state-wide technology retreat, the focus of the retreat is to bring all technology directors together to share, collaborate and to work together to move ed tech forward in the State.  We are planning to hold it April 2-3 in the Salt Lake area.  There will be a survey send out soon to collect information on what the breakout session should be, please complete the survey.  More to follow soon.
